TOPIC: Data-driven Design Thinking in Payments

• Session Focus:
  • Combining the principles of design thinking with the rapidly evolving world of payments
  • Exploring creative customer-centric solutions infused by our secret sauce – the Visa data
• Activities:
  • Introduction to design thinking methods linked to our Product x Design narrative (Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, Test)
  • Split students into groups, each focusing on a payment-related challenge from the case - all supported by our data
  • Rapid prototyping: Students sketch or visualize quick prototypes, test them within the workshop, and gather feedback + present it to the Visa jury
• Takeaways:
  • Understanding of design thinking fundamentals
  • Hands-on experience creating user-centric & data-driven payment solutions for the specific case
